Mikail is FINALLY taking a nap (she fights sleep harder than anyone I know), and because of that, I have about an hour and a half of free time but instead of cleaning the dishes, picking up baby toys, or doing other "fun" work, I am choosing to update our page. I know... skipping out on chores is the ultimate sacrifice for all our viewers. :)
Instead of just posting pictures I chose to communicate how our lives have changed in the past 5 weeks:
Here are just a few!
- Danielle can smell a dirty diaper a mile away.
- "Sleeping In" has been removed from our personal vocabulary
- Danielle has gotten EVEN WORSE at calling people back- which is pretty bad :)
- Our first date night since parenthood involved picking up diapers.
- Dave has personally experienced projectile poop.
...and my favorite...
- Dave has become quite good at sucking out boogers! His head lamp really does help!
But even with all the ups and downs to first time parenthood, we love every moment! Enjoy the new pictures!

hey guys! i cant believe i haven't been good at commenting! I love the updates! Mikail is so sweet..and this post made me laugh. Oh the joys of first time parenting!!
I must admit...i am so jealous that Vernon might get to meet your sweet bundle on Monday...but I know he will fall in love with her and we will have to come back SOON! And we have to have Titus meet her so we can get the betrothal papers drawn up! 3 years is not that big of an age difference right?!?
